Cubic homes in Rotterdam; I was actually amazed that everything was level on the inside! They sold for around R2mill.
Level is not something the architect of this building, called Waldspirale (Wooded Spiral), in Darmstadt Germany wanted, on the contrary – everything in this building is skew! Its diagonal roof is covered with grass, shrubs and trees and the facade follows an irregular grid organization. Waldspirale has over 1,000 windows, but no two are the same. I actually saw real people living in it!
